Start with your first results
The Momentum Screener is a research starting point: it puts a consistent ranking of eligible securities in front of you, then gives you tools to decide what deserves deeper research. The rankings are not recommendations or a promise of future performance.
Open the screener and choose a view
Open the Momentum screener to see the current ranked universe. Use the strategy selector to compare the five available views. The 12M, 9M, 6M, and 3M strategies emphasize persistence across different lookback horizons; Composite combines the strategy signals into one view. A security can rank differently in each view because each one asks a slightly different question about trend strength and persistence.
Read a result in context
The strategy rank is the security's position in the full eligible universe for the selected strategy. After you filter or sort the table, the number shown on a card is its position in the current filtered result set. These are different concepts: filtering changes what is visible, but it does not recalculate the strategy rank.
Prices and daily changes can provide current-session context, while ranking scores, strategy ranks, and table order are tied to the completed ranking run. See Market data, updates, and delays when timing matters.
Narrow the list
Use screener filters to focus on trend persistence, volatility, market capitalization, or other available fields. Sorting and search help you move through the current result set; they do not change the underlying ranking calculation.
Inspect a security
Select a ticker to open its stock card. Review the chart, momentum context, company data, and available research links. Look for supporting evidence such as the shape of the trend, drawdowns, liquidity, and recent news rather than treating a rank as a conclusion.
Build a shortlist
Save candidates to a watchlist so you can return to them as your research develops. The screener is designed to help you organize attention; decisions still require your own due diligence and risk assessment.
