Account & billing basics
Momentum Screener keeps billing simple so you can focus on research, not logistics. Everything below lives inside your Account page once you're signed in.
Free trial
Every plan begins with a 60-day free trial. A credit card is required to start the trial, but you can cancel any time before it ends to avoid being charged.
During the trial you get full access to all features on your selected plan:
Core – Daily momentum rankings, favorites lists, top movers by timeframe (3, 6, 9, and 12 months), and simple charts to visualize trends.
Edge – Everything in Core, plus advanced screeners (filter by market cap, price, volume, sector, industry), adjustable list sizes, chart indicators (moving averages, RSI, etc.), resilience/drawdown lists, and expanded coverage including mutual funds, crypto, and top dividends (coming soon).
Renewals and billing cycle
When your trial ends, we charge the card on file. After that, billing recurs on the same date each month or year depending on your plan. Your renewal date appears at the top of the Account page and in every receipt email.
You can cancel at any time before the next renewal date. If you cancel, you keep access until the current period ends—no partial refunds, but no surprise charges either.
Changing your plan
- Sign in and open Account.
- Under Plan details, select Change plan.
- Pick Core or Edge. We show a prorated estimate before you confirm.
- Submit. The new feature set applies immediately.
The prorated amount is calculated to the minute. The final charge may differ slightly depending on how long the billing change takes to process, but the exact amount will appear on your emailed invoice.
You can switch plans as often as you like—no support ticket required.
Payment methods and receipts
- Update your card from the Payment method panel inside Account.
- Receipts are emailed automatically after each charge and can also be downloaded from Billing history.
- Need a custom invoice? Add your tax ID or company name to your billing profile before downloading the PDF.
Cancellations and refunds
To cancel, open Account and click Cancel plan. Your subscription stays active until the current paid period ends.
If something looks off—an unexpected charge, a duplicate payment, or a feature that didn't work as advertised—reach out and we'll make it right.
Team or gift accounts
We currently offer single-user licenses. If you're purchasing for a team, reach out via the contact form with the number of seats you need and we'll coordinate multi-seat pricing.
Can't sign in?
If you can't access Account settings because you're locked out, visit the auth portal and try Forgot password or Use a passkey. You can also email support from your billing address and we'll help reset access securely.
